Simplifying the Connection Process with ENA Connect Direct
ENA Connect Direct offers a faster, more efficient way to get approval for connecting residential low-carbon technology to the grid. The new online application allows solo and team installers to submit and manage all domestic LCT applications from one central platform.
ENA required a simple and concise animation to explain this streamlined service and demonstrate how it benefits their customers.
Client brief:
We were provided with a script from Fifty One Films along with a small selection of illustrations to guide the direction of the piece.
Building on this, we developed a range of style frames and storyboards, maintaining a light and playful tone without veering into something childish or patronizing. To tie the narrative together, we extracted the plug and cable element from the logo and used it as a visual device to transition smoothly from scene to scene.
The client also wanted to avoid using a voiceover, so we carefully crafted each scene to incorporate copy within the frame. This choice determined the piece’s pacing, but we ensured it never felt slow or overwhelming, keeping the animation engaging throughout.
